Community Ministries

The Local Outreach Committee at Colborne Street United teams with New St. James Presbyterian, Trinity Lutheran and St. Michael's Roman Catholic Churches to provide a weekly hospitality meal from September to May. The meal is served at St. Michael's, 511 Cheapside Street, Mondays (except statutory holidays) at 5:30 p.m.

Colborne Street United continues to be a major contributor to the mission of the United Church of Canada through the Mission and Service Fund.

REFUGEE ASSISTANCE COMMITTEE

Colborne Street United is a member of LIRSA, London Interfaith Refugee Sponsorship Alliance, an ecumenical group of London churches that work together to sponsor and support refugee families.

Through our Local Outreach Committee, Colborne Street United supports a number of organizations, including the Youth Action Centre which assists youth in the core area, the Good Samaritan Cupboard at Dundas Street Centre United Church, the Daily Bread food bank at St. Paul's Cathedral, the London Food Bank and the London Intercommunity Health Centre.
