A visual choral concert to commemorate our Veterans

Tickets: $25.00  /  Children under 13 are free

We Remember Them is a collaborative event created by the ColborneLive working committee that brings together singers, musicians, and volunteers from across the London community.

The highlight of the afternoon will be a performance by Chorus London, conducted by Dr. David Haller, of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, accompanied by the Piccadilly Strings.  The program will also include Samuel Barber’s moving Adagio from his String Quartet, performed by ten talented musicians.

We are honoured to have representation from The Royal Canadian Legion present representing our Veterans during our Remembrance Day Concert.

Complementing the music, the event will present a compelling collection of wartime photographs and videos, creating a vivid and immersive experience that transports the audience to the era of Wartime.

Classical performances include:

  • Faure Requiem:   Faure's Requiem is unique.  Faure concentrates on the true meaning of the word "Requiem", or "rest". His Requiem is about peaceful acceptance and release, and the music is serene, elevating, comforting.
  • Adagio for Strings - Adagio for Strings is a work by Samuel Barber arranged for string orchestra from the second movement of his String Quartet, Op. 11.   The solemn, heart-wrenching sadness of the music has lent itself to a range of powerful uses beyond the concert hall. It has been played
